An excellent turnout is expected from the Women's section at the Good Friday Relays at Newburn, with 18 athletes and 6 teams entered.

This type of race is an ideal introduction to road racing for those new to the sport and a chance for the experienced runner to have a short, sharp blast around a relatively flat 2.2 mile course.

It gives everyone from the club an opportunity to don the Royal Blue vest and represent the Harriers as part of a team environment where participation and running to the best of your ability are the core values. Eddie and Colleen are finalising team selection and no doubt we will again enjoy a great days running,
