Yesterday at the Sand Dancer was a great day all round for the club. The senior women secured a solid second place and the senior men just missed out on first place. Yet, they all ran well and secured second.
The junior members also did extremely well in their 3K race with two medalling.
The first Harrier across the line was Eve Quinn, continuing her recent fine run of form finishing 34th overall in a great time of 12:30, which made her the first Under-17 girl.
The second Harrier home, and the day’s other medallist, was Jack Thirlwell who ran a fine 13:36 and was the second male Under-11.
Lydia Stoker was the next in a time of 14:28, which earned her a nice 5th place finish in the Under-15 girls category.
Lydia was closely followed by Harry Tiltman who covered the course in a time of 14:45, ranking him 7th in his category. Catilin Watson also finished 7th in her category, Under-15 girls, with a time of 15:49.
Well done to all who competed!
